HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
That is all.
P.S. The family that I worked for tonight (yes, I worked on New Year's, baby-sitting) has to be about my favorite family in the world. They are a gay couple who adopted twin boys when they were less than a year old. Amazingly enough, the twins look like they probably had 2 different fathers and one boy looks like each dad (One of the guys is white and the other one is half Mexican). But that's neither here nor there. Anyway, the boys are almost 3. I nannied for them last year, but now one of the dads stays home. And these are the most adorable, loving, easy to deal with toddlers you have ever met. I love them to death, and, really, I'd probably watch them for free. But I'm not turning away the money when they offer it. Anybody who thinks LGBT parents would somehow fuck up their kids needs to compare these boys to the kids I watch now.
Anyway, another reason I love this family: the guys come home, and we're chit-chatting, and one of the guys tells me about how, at the second party they went to, there were male strippers, and how he wasn't really comfortable with "some naked, oily guy rubbing up against me" while in mixed company.
hehe. I never got such interesting evening wrap-ups when I was baby-sitting in high school.
