I've been trying to work on a couple new songs as of late, and progress is slow, but steady. Right now, I only have about 45 mintues of original material, and not even all of that I consider "finished". I guess, when I get right down to it, I don't have any finished songs...
that can't be a good thing. oh well, i still have plenty of time to meet my goal, which is this: i want to play a real gig by the end of this school year. So I have until June of 2004 to get 1 1/2 hours of original material + covers/randomness. I know that I can do it. I just need to focus a hell of a lot more...
I haven't even updated my website since early July. I have a few poems and random pictures to upload. Plus, I really need to make the site a little more visually stimulating. Maybe make a background and incorperate a decent interface instead of just a plain ol' black and white page with links and pics.
And just to make this journal entry even longer, I'd just like to say that I'm still thinking about the Pink House Party. That was definitely the most fun I've had in a long, long, long time... I miss everyone terribly

School just started today, and I live smack dab in the college part of town. I had completely forgot about until I went outside for work this morning and said "Who the hell are all these people?"
