Well, children, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. I sure as hell didn't get much of anything accomplished, which is a little frustrating but there isn't much I can do about that.
I didn't go to work today as I called ahead of time to see if they needed me, and it turned out that they really didn't. So, I spent the afternoon watching ER Season One on DVD and playing Donkey Kong 64. Good times. I also went out for Chinese Food tonight, which is a family tradition of mine, with my family as well as my boyfriend. Heh, I spent most of the evening rubbing my hand up his leg, but he looked like he didn't mind. Oh well.
Me thinks I need to start back up on my diet again; I've been slipping a bit and have gained back some of the weight that I've lost. Not good. So, I think I'm going to get rid of all of my "bad" food (no more chocolates, sugary things (candy canes and what not), or ice cream (GASP!)) and go back to being very low fat and dairy free. Hey, I lost 10 pounds in a few months that way and I can't stand doing those low carb diets. I just need to get off my ass and do more exercising. It doesn't help that it's -20C out here and I can't use the gym at the university because I haven't paid my fees for the Winter 2005 session. Maybe I'll drag my boyfriend down to Value Village with me and invest in some free weights. I think I'll also go pick up a Pilates DVD so I can do all of that in the privacy of my own room (my laptop has a DVD ROM drive, which is always a wonderful thing) as opposed to my living room for my roommate and what not to see. Always embarrassing.
Ok, I think I've rambled enough for tonight. I'm getting tired anyways and I want to go hide under the five blankets on my bed.

Good luck! I'm on the diet track, too. I had lost 13lbs, but recently gained back 4, so I'm eating a lot of salad these days!
Mildly interesting fact: celery is considered to have negative calories because it takes more calories to chew than it provides.
