I just heard from one of my friends from high school. A girl I graduated with recently had an aneurysm and died. That's such a strange feeling. Of course, that's horrible for her family to have to deal with, especially right before the holidays. But, as everyone does, I am making this about myself and realizing mortality. Everything that I seem to see as important fades and all I want to do is be with the people I love. It's really unfortunate that most times you have to wait for something terrible like this to happen before you reevaluate your priorities.

I can't wait to see my family and especially that one person...
