I just quit my job.
It's very strange. I cried a bit after calling in, which was a completely unexpected reaction out of me. I should have seen it coming though. I've been there for over a year, and have made some really great friends that I won't get to see on a daily basis now. I guess it will just go to prove how strong those bonds are though if I manage to see them outside of work now too.
I also did like my job, just not the management or politics of the place.
I'm thinking of working at a video store in my neighbourhood that's hiring. A drop in pay, yes, but I love movies. I feel like working somewhere that has a bit of culture and diversity. A place where I can discuss a passion of mine with people. Cross your fingers for me, folks.
Also, does anyone have a profile on LiveJournal? If so, feel free to visit R_O_W_A_N and say hello. You'll definitely see some similarities between the entries here and there. I'm too lazy I suppose to compose the same story multiple times.
Also, came across this interesting picture of me dancing at the Dissent website. It's pretty damned cool, methinks.
