Hello one and all
The Retail Management course I signed up for has so far been pretty pointless, as most of what we have "learnt" is just common sense, everything else has been rushed through so much that you don't have time to absorb the information. Basically I am just waiting the have all the booklets, so I can go through and make notes on everything, then teach myself as much as I can before the examination. One good thing that has come from taking this course is the organisation also helps you find employment. Within one day of handing in my CV I was contacted about FOUR well paying full-time jobs. I have been unemployed for six months, signed up to every job search website and joined every job agency I could, but none of them has even found me one job.
My Wing Tsun classes have been going really well. I am pushing my body further than I ever thought I could, feeling the aches and pains the following day, but still loving every minute of it. I have had classes with Si-Hing and Si-Mei, both are awesome in their own ways, I particularly like lessons with Si-Hing as he enjoys describing the bone breaking motions.
Today I went to see rdpixie make her LDN Wrestling debut. She was really awesome in the ring, as were most of the others involved, I cannot wait to see the next show. I was not expecting to enjoy myself as much as I did, but after just one match it was worth the journey, and I cannot wait to see my friends pictures from the show (I will make sure to post them as soon as I have them). One downside to the show was that it really made me miss going to pro-wrestling training, if I had the money I would love to join LDN Wrestling, but the money I do have is going on my Wing Tsun classes.
At the end of this week Sci-Fi London are bringing Oktoberfest to the Royal Observatory Greenwich and Piccadily Circus. On Friday, to celebrate the release of the new Star Trek movie on DVD and blu-ray, they are screening a IMAX print of the film on the curved screen inside the Planetarium. Then on Saturday there will be the usual All-Nighter events, which include an Alien/Predator All-Nighter, an Anime All-Nighter and the always awesome MST3K All-Nighter. These events are always fun to go to and are even more fun to be part of.
That is all for now

we wanted to make it more complicated but it was almost impossible and rather than produce something way complicated, the idea was stripped right back. x
