just found the cutest little christmas gifts for j.'s niece and nephew. little bracelets for the 3 year old niece, and itty bitty dino pajamas for the 2 month old nephew. cute cute cute! i don't gush over babies, but i gush over baby accessories.

in other news, it is a beautiful day outside, i have yet to smoke even one cigarette, and even though i spilled ketchup on my sweater i enjoyed lunch immensely. i read up to part II of the third gunslinger book, and god i'll be damned if i did not begin weeping into what was left of my diet coke. so very moving. and real. and not overdone.

some friends sent me a photo of themselves scubadiving, and it made me wish even more to begin planning a tropical vacation for march. i think i mentioned to to j as i was drifting off last night, but maybe i just imagined mentioning it. i'm sure he'll indulge my bizarre need to plan things 3 months ahead of time.

it has been a couple of busy months, with many ups and downs, and the stress is not really near being over. but i feel pretty good. there is love in my life.
