Was going to write to say that I'm moving out at the end of the month but things have changed.
Earlier this week I was involved in a car accident and then found out my credit card was over it's limit. So there I was jobless, penniless, in debt and with a shit-car. And to boot, I won't be able to move out until the end of September.
So, I went to the mall with a friend who's visiting yesterday and saw a help wanted sign at a kiosk. Thinking, "why the hell not?" I asked about it and then met the craziest manager I've ever met. The entire time I thought that this was the biggest waste of my time because: (a)The manager was fucking crazy and (b)I was only getting minimum wage. He tells me to come in Monday for 3 days of 5 hour training. Since I have nothing better to do, I decided to go stand at that godamn manicure kiosky for 15 hours to get a measly, but needed, 90 dollars. He told me that 90% of the people who get the job quit after the first day. Honestly, I can't see myself being good at this. I'm good at taking orders, not pushing people to come over to my stupid little table and let me trim their fucking nails.
But whatever at least it's something I can laugh about and maybe it won't be so bad afterall. So if you're at the Regent Mall Mon thru Wed and feel like spending $39.99 ( ) on a manicure set then visit me at my dumb little stand.
In other news, I showed my friend (who's a straight girl) my SuicideGirls book and she thought it was cool. She adores Heather and likes the idea of the site. Which I think is lovely. And then I bumped into my friend Natalie (hi, natalie, if you read this) at Cora's and found out that she has been doing some modeling for bondge and fetish sites in B.C. I asked her if she knew about SG and she said she caught a Burlesque show and thought they were the shit. She wants to model for the site and, in my opinion, I think she'd be perfect for it.
Anyway, all is good and I (kind of?) have a job now with a crazy (but hot) manager. Niiiiice.

PS: have you heard the rumour that Moneen and Alexisonfire are touring together this fall?
Thank you for the sweet hello that was nice. I'm sorry about the accident I hope you weren't hurt any. As for the job situation it sounds quite interesting to say the least. At least you shouldn't be too bored with all the passer byers. You were lucky to find a job that quick actually. I'm sure you'll do really well for as long as you desire to stay there. To be able to sit across from you & have you caressing my hands would be well worth the $40. I would return many times a day just to talk with you. Congradulations. SS
