On my dating-status-thingie over there <-----, I just changed my smoking thing from "'I'm quitting'" to "nope." I quit cold turkey a couple of months ago and haven't looked back.
Then again, I've done that a couple of times. But this is the first time I've done it for myself. In the past, it was always because the off-season was over and my coach and/or teammates were threatening me . . . not because I wanted to quit (I didn't). I'm not even on an organized sports team anymore. I did it because I wanted to.
Heck, this might be the first, maybe second, Big Thing I've done for myself and myself only.

on the authors, I chose them because I like the way both write, I like the fact that they both satarize their own perspective culture. I have to some how prove that either author is a perfect example of a post modernist author.
without actually saying, jonathan coe is a postmodernist author because he chooses to use a plethora of different writing styles, and brings other fictional mediums into his work. This can be seen in....
