I PASSED MY QUALS!!!
This means I am over "scary hurdle #1" and that I am officially a Ph.D. candidate instead of a provisionary Ph.D. student. Now I have orals to look forward to. (Oral examinations . . . the "look forward to" was pure sarcasm . . . get your minds out of the gutter.)
Four more years to go . . . then I will be Dr. AnitaLife.
