Did a armour and fighting demo for 'Kingdom of Heaven" last night'....twice; the 7 and 9 shows......was a combo (if you go to "my pictures"..."being here" #7 and #15), worked out really well. My fighting partner shoot at me with arrows [they were blunted] from across the theater and one broke on impact off my shield and helmet. Hard enough to take off my head...

I agree that it could have been handled with more finesse (eg. not chopping people's farms in half), but the country is at war - and manners traditionally go out of the window in such circumstances.
Personally, I think the whole three state solution is dumb. There are always going to be fanatics who want to launch suicide bombs, so there will always be draconian security measures.
It was a big mistake for us Brits to have given 79% of the Palestine mandate to a tribe of Arabs brought in from Saudi.
If they'd given the Palestinians sole rights to everything on the East of the River, given the Jews sole rights to everything on the West of the River and given the Hashemites some land to the North East or South West of today's Jordan, I don't think we'd have had as many problems.
It's just a shame that world opinion ignores the history and demands that the new Palestine be created out of land held by israel. Meanwhile Jordan, with a huge, spacious, underpopulated country gets a free pass.
