Ok. So. My trip was amazing. Except for that part where I got stuck at the Minneapolis airport for an entire night. That sucked. But, otherwise? Yeah, totally amazing.
Its strange to say, but I feel more connected to the members of Sharon's family that I've met, than to my own. I think I mentioned this around Christmas time, but my family has really started to make me feel like a black sheep...which isn't nearly as fun as I always envisioned. The worst part is that I can tell that they don't really seem to care that I am engaged. I don't know...Sharon's uncle Steve, and her cousin Amanda really made me feel like part of the family when I was out there. It was nice...my family certainly hasn't done the same for Sharon, not even my parents!
In other related SF news...the bar Zeitgeist in the Mission is awesome, so is Boogaloos (a place for brunch). Everyone and there mother who rids a bike either has sweet Deep V rims or those chunky plastic three spoked rims that 80s BMX bikes had, except road bike sized...I was jealous of just about every bike I saw.
AND...my luggage just arrived yesterday. Its at my parents, so I'll need to go get it later today at some point. BUT, since I decided to take a mental health day today, I'm feeling particularly lazy, and have not as of yet changed out of my pajamas...soooooo...probably around dinner time, I'll do that.
One of these days I'll post the small amount of pictures I took, and take some more of a bunch of the neat shit I bought...
I seriously didn't want to come home...I can't wait to go back. Probably around Christmas, I guess...which will be nice.
