Hello, zero readers...
I simultaneously love and hate Fridays. Although I haven't had work or school on Fridays since coming to UWM almost 5 years ago, it always seems like the days are long and boring. ectasia always has class and work, and it seems like all my other friends do to. So, I end up in bed with my laptop all afternoon...oh well.
I realized last night that I know next to nothing about the Mac OS. I have been using Apple computers my entire life, and I don't know half of what my fiance, who has been using them for about two years, knows. But, on the upside, I got Sam and Max Hit The Road working last night! So, that was something I haven't done since I was 14! Still the best computer game ever!
Someone should buy me a photo scanner...and a poloroid back for my Holga...and an infinite supply of film! Please?
Speaking of photography, here's a photo I took of the creepy elevator in our building a long time ago...

unless they rereleased it, the polaroid back and polaroid film for the holga has been discontinued. i wouldn't be surprised, though, if they have brought it back with a different number. my landcamera has had so many different films, all essentially the same. i'm on my last two rolls for my holga.

actually, i just read a few hours ago that polaroid is shutting down production entirely. there are talks of other companies picking up the products, especially the professional films that are still used in large format photography proofs and such. but in the next few months, polaroid will be even more of a rarity. and i imagine it will take a bit for other companies to get their production moving and in stores.
