Lately, I have been watching "The Addams Family" and reading "The Fantastic Four." I have noticed some startling similarities between the two:
- They were both comics that were made into television shows, then movies, then television shows again at various times.
- They were both popular in the 1960's.
- They both centered around an unusual family.
- They both became famous for their unconventional characterizations.
- They both featured a character called "Thing."
As I see it, the primary difference between the two is that the Addams Family's Thing has the proper number of fingers.
I have also been listening to a lot of Bob Dylan and analyzing the subtexts and hidden messages in his songs. For example:
Mr. Tambourine Man - I am very high.
All Along the Watchtower - I really am quite high.
I Want You - I love you, but that should not interfere with me being very, very high.
