So--I just got home from my great uncle Louie's funeral. It was sad in one of those weird ways...the guy was 84 years old and suffering for at least a year if not more...so you kind of have to feel happy for him. He is better off this way. But he was an amazing man....so it's hard not to feel so sad. They buried him with his trumpet...which I thought was awesome...he was in a band until he was 74! That is dedication!
Here is one of his infamous quotes...
"It's a good life, if you can afford it!"
He was kind of a spaz about money....the man had bars of gold hidden in the pvc piping of his basement because he was convinced that there would be another depression.
Anyways....the words I have for Louie...
"heaven or heaven-less we're all headed for the same sweet darkness"

I'm so sorry to hear about your great uncle, but it sounds like he lived his life to the fullest and that he was a pretty happy guy, which is the best any of us can hope for. I hope everything else has been going well for you!
