Today I made some new friends. Which is strange for me, seeing as generally I avoid talking to people at uni. But I thought that I should probably give it a shot, seeing as that's what people do, apparently.
So, in further attempts to be social, I'm going to do a latin dance class tomorrow and try it out, and I am even going so...

Well, the essay I was stressing about and putting off got done, thank god. I haven't slept, just wrote it, printed it, took it in and stuck it through the hole in the door. I haven't been game to read over it...that could result in a) Disaster. b) Self Loathing for Laziness. c) Anger. d) Disappointment at my own Stupidity. k) All of the above...

I saw your Douglas Adams quote in the boards.

I just want to extend to you two thumbs up.

"Therefore we must be mad."
"Nice day for it."
"Yes." Said a passing maniac.

Thanks for the comment on my set smile kiss

Sorry to hear about the essay. That is usually how my school assignments go, too....

Does anyone know why, when I try and upload photos, the colour quality is shit? They go all grey and kind of muted. It's horrible. Otherwise, anyone know of a Mac program like Paint that will let me make photos smaller so they are under 100kb, because then I won't have to use this shitty old PC.
salieri:
I have the same issue.

I use a Digital Rebel XT and the photos are usually somewhere around 600kb.

Without Photoshop around, all I can do is mute the Colours or make it smaller and horrid quality.

If you figure it out, send it my way. tongue

Did some more op-shopping in order to put off writing my essay...yes I still haven't done it. But I did buy a gorgeous yellow shirt with puffed sleeves and a pussy-bow collar! So something nice happened today!

Valentine's Day went well...I was not so creative and ended up getting Adam a book, nerve.com Position of the Day Playbook. Well, I thought that it might come in handy! And so far, it has. Man's Ruin and Hi Ball at the Prince was awesome, all 50s and 60s music so a very rockabilly crowd...and I didn't wear polka dots! It's a miracle! He didn't...

well it is 4 am here and I was snooping about your profile here, after seeing your name on a thread and just wanted to say that, that is a very nice new tatt. And it looks like it must have hurt like hell.
I have two myself, one felt like a tickle and the other one had me gritting my teeth for dear life.
amaranthe:
i was surprised and kind of disappointed that it didn't hurt...just tickled, i am ridiculously ticklish and it was a nightmare to stay still!

Someone help me! What on earth are you supposed to get for a guy for Valentine's Day? I'm completely hopeless, I just don't know these things. I did manage to find a card...that took about two hours. Damn me for being indecisive.
There is a burlesque show with Man's Ruin and Hi Ball in St Kilda tomorrow night, so I'm planning that we catch that,...

Had a big weekend down in Anglesea, disgustingly hot weather on thursday down at the beach - I was expecting myself to melt into the sand - but luckily the water was nice and cool. Managed to not get sunburnt, which is a miracle for me, and took my pretty hat but it kept blowing away.
On the negative side, I broke up with my...

Last night I got bored and decided to r-pierce my labret. I got it four years ago, and had to take it out about 2 years ago for work (damn work). It never really healed properly, only about 2/3, and when I found an old labret stud I decided to see if i could repierce it with that, and see whether it would hurt.
Now,...

History is definitely fascinating and was always one of my favourite areas of study... seeing as I'm deferring from uni for the upcoming semester, I hereby bestow upon you all the academic luck I won't be using for the next six months or so.

Also eeek you're a Chalice fan. They're amazing, and really need to come to Brisbane.
