amalgamated

ah, another weekend is wrapping up for me and i sit here watching Porco Rosso with a glass of whiskey. pretty proud that i was able to get a lot of what i wanted to do accomplished. Cleaned, cooked, hung out a bit with friends, and did my best to keep ignoring the holiday's influence. Didn't have much time to think about the last one over sat/sunday due to the insanity of working as a line cook around holidays in general, but it certainly hit me hard monday. another year, another one spent alone... ah well.

i actually did some good shopping at the 3 different places around me in the morning. spent some of the later day working on scion, and chatting with a friend who as always gives off mixed signals. today,. however, was spent avoiding the wet snow. baked a large blueberry muffin/loaf and went to visit a friend. spent a couple hours watching old south park eps before checking out a bar that was having a rock band night, it was pretty dead. so, here i am... anime and whiskey.


all in all it was a good two days off from work
