I'm more excited than I probably should be..

I've had the new Player Handbook in my own hands for just a little over a week and have probably read it cover to cover a half dozen times already. Partly due to the fact since I've not really had a chance to play since 3.5, only played a short campaign in 4E as things fell apart...

Shit, does time move quickly..

I can't believe it's already almost been a year since moving back down home. It's starting to get hard to remember just how things were back in those lean years of NYC. Part of me is happy at that, part of me is sad. Life is much better now, to be sure, but the challenge of living off so little...

Today was a bit of a pain in the ass. Mostly because I'm a NYC kitchen boy singing the "holey shit does retail suck" blues, but also because I truly am the only one who gets shit done. Be that as it may, the day is done and I've unlocked the best way to unwind:

That is to say, Sea Shanties and a Ballast Point's

Roasted some lamb for my birthday this last weekend. That along with finally cracking open a whiskey I bought in Ireland, I'd say it was a success ^_^

Fall seems to be slowly approaching the South... feels a bit weird to not be enjoying it as I would be in the North. That doesn't mean I won't be taking advantage of the things I'm afforded down here though. Been looking up state parks in which to spend many weekends camping and such, etc.

I've also got a new batch of Mead started up...

This past Saturday was the annual 24Hr Comic Day. The challenge is to create and complete full comic that's at least 24pgs long in 24hrs. Seeing as I can't draw, I tried to use that to my advantage. This was pretty difficult to do even with only focusing on it, and I am pretty proud that I was able to succeed this year.

And here...

Just a short little diddy about what i've been up to..

It's already been almost 2months since I've moved from NYC back to my hometown in Florida. The time has flown by it feels like, what with all the family grill outs, fishing, theme park visits, and hanging out with old friends. I've yet to get a job, or brew beer...

Honestly I'm only really...

Sooooo after 4 years of cooking professionally I finally cut myself bad enough to get stitches. Hurrah(?)!

While making family meal (it was going to be stew!) my newly sharpened knife went right through what I was cutting down and right into my hand.. I walked over the sink right away, cleaned it, put pressure on it and asked someone to get a manager. I...

Looks painful. The doctors probably see these cuts pretty often, but just looking at it yours looks like it's in an unusual spot to me. Maybe I'm just not getting the angles and everything from the picture though.

The rain/snow is steadily falling outside my window, a fake fireplace pops and crackles on my tv, and i've got to head off to work in about 30mins. I don't particularly want to leave this nice, cozy scene but it must be done. It is the holiday season after all and I must be able to afford gifts haha

Winter is already looking even more...
