woman sucked into mall's holiday consumerist spirit
dude, the mall is so bewildering, and I forget how fucking amish I can be. all mesmerized by too much input.
I bought two presents for other people, and totally fatuous, two new pairs of jeans from express, since I was suckered in by their 20$ off each sale, and the fact that they had 14 long in stock, which is a god damn miracle, ladies and gentleman.
I love cute jeans, and since my size is on the cusp of being to big for me to buy regular womens sizes usually there's nothing there in my size. Or there's stuff in my size, but everything's three to four inches too short.
so I was a happy little materialist. yay jeans!
gaaah, I'm supposed to be cleaning and organizing my junk right now, but I ran out of steam.
I totally need to get better quality bookshelves. I think they don't actually expect that people will put books on them-- certainly not the way I do- my bookshelves work hard-
I fit as much on there as I can, cause I have so many, I don't want them to expand and conquer all of my living space.
I just put five file sized boxes of books in the attic, and I have three boxes to be given away.
I think I can come up with about two more boxes worth to store too.
I would give them away, but especially with language and computer books, I alway know that in six months I'll want that book again. The trick is to weed out the ones you don't touch in years. Or the ones I can get at the library.
damn remembering to return library books.
hey! I think I could put together a spare computer out of all the parts I have down here!
um, okay, I gotta go now.

Book organization...yes, that's it! For the only other way way overly-organized collection can fulfill it's destiny is through dewey decimal.
