I am super happy. see I'm a major language geek. THere's no rush like successfully completing a task in another language for the language geek.
here's a list of low key language thrills:
{sans the embarassing necessity of talking to a person}
buy a book/product online on a foreighn web site. I did it with french and german amazon.com yay geeky me!
if your super marked has self check out aisles you may be as lucky as we are and have the choice of spanish language check out! yay! I bought groceries in spanish.
I've never been brave enough to choose another language on the atm. boy it was a trip using the ATM in brazil......
then, lately there's my foreign blog habit. we'll see. I'm sure I'll think of more geeky linguist passtimes to add to this list.
