I'm on a running kick. So far it's lasted a week. I have plans to make it a regular thing. It would be really helpful for the old lungs. Plus it's an excelent cheap entertainment.
Today I ran with my sister. SHe was faster overall, but I beat her on the sprints! yay! I win!
Running faster than someone else is a major accomplishment for me.
always nice to know what matters to yourself.
facing the breathing demon is a big one.

It's good that you are strengthing your lungs. I need to do more cardio work as well, but I haven't found anything I really love that gets my heart racing (except twirling and grooving). I'm so lazy.
Edited to add:
Running on the beach is where I love to run. I could spend the entire day splashing throught the waves and bounding along the sand. There is just something so right about the feel of the ground by the sea. The perfect combination of give and support. (Now I'm getting all nostalgic for summer days. Sigh . . )
