my roomie brought home some germans last night (she can always find the euros) so we just chilled and told them about all of the cool stuff that they have to do...

i guess that i just shouldn't talk anymore.
i am better off most all of the time just keeping my mouth shut.

i had a feeling. i'm smart, intuitive...i just knew it.

damn, i'm good

if that's the way you feel. so be it.

{throws hands up in air}

i've been surrounded by so much immaturity during my life. it is really sad. basically all...

take risks, but also be smart.

what brought on the maturity discussion?
wickedmonkey68:
I agree with you on this, Dora...

It's about accountability too...people allow these feelings brought on by their past to cripple them. They become hobbled by this stuff and never seem to get up to speed, are never able to fully evolve...it's weird. And hard to watch.

Hope you have a great weekend!

So you wanna go on a date then?

Thanks for the comment regarding architecture some of us are evil I tell you (we are still far from nobililty). I think as any artist as long as your passionate and really believe in your work in anyway that is breath-taking. I really enjoy someone with stong beliefs and will; even if it is different from my values. I am very far from the things I want to accomplish and far from comprehending the outcome of such life. As of all things, I am on a path such as time can only tell.

Reality takes many forms, the feeling of fear is static as it can only thrive in doubt. I think you really care about your future greatly but don't let that get in the way because there is someone with a title.

my first day of work went really well.
my boss adores me so i can pretty much get away with anything. i've been there for 2 years now, and this will be my third. i will be excited to get a real design job, but this one actually pays really well for being on campus. and it's so laid back..started on a little postcard/bookmark thingy...

it's so obvious...
the only things that we ever want.
are the things that we can't have.

we are never happy where we are.
or who we are with.
or who we are.

constant craving...
aficionado:
Is it just me, or did you accumulate many friends in the last few months??

but you pretty much hit it. yes. grass is always greener and whatnot. would it be a good thing to be content with where we are, though? should there not always be a strive for something better? isn't that what motivates us to be something better? and whatnot?

plus, we lose interest in what we have because it can no longer be pursued. the motivation lies in the pursuit. once our pursuit is caught, then what's the point. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand so forth...
suicidesic:
I think this cycle is a reflection of the greed we are nurtured to develop....of course we want the other thing, it is new and shiny and don't forget the more we have than the more we are worth to someone.....or at least to make us feel we are worth anything. Something different we want this need is a struggle to not go unnoticed among the masses...a missing piece of identity, out of the fear we will be left behind if we stay where we are and don't move ahead... kiss I love these little discussions we have. bye bye

it's dreary today.
i want to move back to tucson.

i need to get my ass into work sometime. i'm sure that my boss is wondering what my deal is. i can pretty much make my own schedule there. it would be nice to get some paychecks...i just can't wake up before 10AM these days.
i'll stop whining.
i have it pretty easy.
i'm really...

we need some drear once in a while, it's been too dry all summer. I'm looking forward to some seasonal change. this way you can sit in your apartment and not die of heat exhaustion, wrap up in a nice sweater and work on some design...have a good'n

let me tell you about my first design project for the semester. pretty exciting stuff. my entire class was paired up with an industrial design student, who is in the process of creating a set of grilling tools (just in time for Labor Day BBQ...yumm) so, as the graphic designer, i get to brainstorm and create a name, logo identity, and packaging for them.
pretty...
