It’s been a long time since i made a blog expressing myself a little bit, but today i wanted to share with you something…
This summer i was visiting Morocco, on a trip that was very special for me, in which I had the pleasure of connecting with a culture that is very different from mine, learning a lot from it and from the amazing people who make it up.
It was not an easy trip, i saw things that made me think a lot about how easy life is when you live in Europe (because i knew it before, but now know that knowing it is not the same as living it). I also did a huge introspection exercise that has helped me value much more everything what I have, to feel grateful for the little things that life gives me, which turned out to be a lot, and also answer many questions that I have asked myself every day for a long time.
Sometimes we need to get rid of the material stuff, the superficiality and the comforts and luxuries that life offers us and just go out to contemplate the landscape, breathe the fresh sea air, listen to the people and appreciate their company and the most important of all: be grateful for having drinking water, food in our pantries and a home to return at night when the cold comes.
During my trip I had practically no internet connection and i didnt make use of the phone (something i was very grateful for haha), but here are some photos that i thought were pretty and that i shot with an old digital camera that i found at home. Maybe i will share more content about this days on my social media in the future..
Thanks Morocco for giving me so much having so little, i just felt in love with you, with your views, your colours, your food and your people, i hope to come back soon. And also thanks to you who was reading if you have made it this far.
