Perfect running weather in the evening now, cool and dry. hope to get up to 50 miles a week before fall, the old bones are holding up so far.
French grapes are growing fast now, lots of rain and hot sun, seems to be good for everything. The yellow cherry tree all survived the late frost as did the nuts, pears, and plums. Herb gardens...

Thanks for the support on my new set <3 <3
Finally warm reliable running weather. i think Summer is here. I don't mind rain, but I hare cold, my hands take forever to get warm even with gloves, maybe mittens next winter.
The little French wineberries have come to life, a few more years and I should be swimin' in Chardanay.
Gonna expand the gardens this year, all organic heirloom this year, old Italian seed...

Your comment gave me the greatest pleasure! Every comment of yours on any set is so honey-dripping poetic and it makes me swoon <3 I am unbelievably grateful that you graced my set with your beautiful descriptive words. It truly makes me feel honored.
Magnolia tree started to blossom yesterday, maybe Winter's over, really didn't have much of one this year tho. First year was able to run without gloves, so far global warming is good for me.

It's cherry blossoms and daffodils here. It felt like spring had definitely sprung!
Then again, we had 3 inches of snow this morning. It didn't last (fortunately) and it was fantastic to see the power of flowers pushing back against the little heaps of snow.

watched a recent remake of Odysseus on the Sci Fi channel last night. How could a guy get in so much trouble and so lost in a few hundred miles of closed coastline?!?

Hello Alfaduetto, thank you so much for viewing and commenting so favourably on my first set.You always have such lovely things to say to the ladies, and it doesn't go unnoticed Thank you
Looking up for 2012, gonna be a good year. I'm still healthy and strong, have a good training plan for another Marathon this fall, been a long time.
Still need to prune the vineyard and fruit trees, everything went wild this last Summer, trees are much too tall. The herb garden is still producing a little, most of the delicate stuff is gone. Oregano and...

Thanks for the comment, it means a lot to me!
Everybody survive the gastronomic overload? I'm a veggie everyday but Thanksgiving so turkey is a serious shock to my system. 10 miles a day for a week should get it done tho. Need to get back into runnin' twice a day, the bones don't mind, but the will complains. Had a sore knee for a week about 25 years ago for about a week, don't...

Thanx for your comment on my set "Mans Ruin"
Rain is gone, sun is showing a bit, Jr coming home from University for the long weekend. We don't see him much but we know he's OK 'cause his debit card slowly leaks out.
Hoping everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Run a few miles to cancel the mashed potatoes, pie and general excess.

Blah blah blah, I don't know you nor am I friends with you but I am trying to get participation in the SGDetroit group. If you are down to drink, not drink, dance, make fun of people to their faces, talk and make awkward conversation, I cordially invite you and whatever mob of friends you may or may not have or in some cases imagined or harbor in your head to participate in a little group outing, party, or whatever is a fancy French/Spanish/Japanese/foreign language word for dancing, talking, drinking, eating is. Once I get enough interest I will announce said party happenings with a time and place. I won't do this without a genuine and good number of people. I miss the old days, I'm getting active and doing something about it. Check the group for info/updates.
