Can't wait to see these guys in Manchester tomorrow night. I'm also looking forward to seeing one of my favorite bands Bayside supporting them. Should be a great night.

I'm so glad I've got this week out of the way. Work's been a real pain. Gotten a little tired with being unacknowledged and unappreciated. I know that I need to do something about it but it's easy to get stuck in a rut isn't it?

Anyways, On a happier note. I've now got 4 days off work. I've just finished packing for a trip...

Went to see Pearl Jam in Leeds last night and they were Amazing! The 4th time I've seen them and they've been great almost every time(The exception was when I saw them in Hyde Park a few years back and the drunken assholes stood around me and my bro didn't stop chatting and trying to pick fights through the entire set)

Last night, there were...

@maggie_fracture I'm not actually from Leeds(I'm from near Lancaster) so I didn't know about the Cockpit. It's a shame when these smaller venues close. Large arenas are alright but there's nothing like seeing bands in a more intimate setting.
maggie_fracture:
Ah right. Yea, you're so right! Apparently the building wasn't structurally sound so it's having to close. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Just finished work for the week and now I can enjoy 3 days off in a row.

I'm going to see Nine Inch Nails in Manchester tomorrow and I've been looking forward to it for so long. They've been on my 'to see' list for a long time, so it'll be great to finally see them perform.

I've had a cold all week which is...

It's my Birthday. Even though I don't look it, I am 31 today.

And my brother bought me tickets to see Brand New and Saves The Day in Leeds tonight.

As I've gotten older I've been happy to let Birthday's pass by without much of a fuss. But I'm really looking forward to this. Two Bands that have been on my 'To See' list for...

Hi Everyone!

Anyone else suffer from a lack of drive or ambition?

I have a job which I can do in my sleep. I neither love nor hate it. It pays the bills. I have a roof over my head. My financial situation is comfortable. If there's something I want or somewhere I want to go(within reason) then I can afford it.

I just can't...

This is just a follow-up to a blog I wrote earlier in the week.

For the many people who didn't read it, a quick recap. I was invited to a Boxing night by a friend at work to see his 16yr old son fight. I wanted to go but hate social situations, so I was debating whether to go or not.

Anyways, at the last...

@wick_  I feel exactly the same way. I always remember when I was younger, my Dad(before he left) used to offer to take me and my Brother to the Football(Soccer). I never used to go because I always preferred watching the scores coming through on TV at home. Silly, I know. : )

Not silly at all ;)

A friend at work has asked me if I'd like to go to a Boxing show on Friday Night to watch his 16 year old Son fight. I'm a big Boxing fan, the guy who asked me is a good friend and I get on really well with his son. I feel conflicted because I'd like to see him fight but I'd also be happy...

On the train home from work today, I was just staring out the window at the clear, crisp winter day outside when I realized how sad i felt. I've got the rest of the weekend to myself and yet I have no plans. Nothing to do, nowhere to go and most importantly no-one to spend the time with.

I've always been able to occupy my...

I'm the same way. I usually enjoy my own company and fit used to preoccupying myself while everyone else had fun but sometimes it's just not enough. I hope you're not feeling sad now :)

@wick_ Hi There. Thanks very much for your comment. It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one who feels this way. I feel OK at the moment. My sadness definitely comes and goes. I feel kinda isolated. To be honest, if I didn't have to go to work, I probably wouldn't leave the house. I worry about it because it can't be healthy to feel that way. I find keeping myself occupied helps but I can never shake the feeling that no matter what I'm doing, being able to share it with someone else would make things so much better. I hope you're well - David

My hair was starting to get on my nerves so I decided to shave it off, which, given how cold it is here in the UK at the moment, was probably a terrible fucking idea. Anyways, the damage is done now........Now, where's my hat?

Also, in the background is my signed 'The Get Up Kids' poster which I bought during a very difficult time in...

I've been on SG since 2007 and never once had a Profile Pic. Ever since I was a kid, having my photo taken was something I avoided at all costs. As an adult, it's something that I've never really grown out of. I know on Social Media having no pic is kinda frowned upon(looks suspicious, hard to tell if it's a real person etc.) So I've...
