And if I could just get past my shy, awkward this-scares-me-cause-I-actually-like-very-few-people-and-I-get-hurt-so-easily-that-it's-hard-for-me-to-just-go-with-the-flow phase, I kinda think we could be friends. Like real ones. I mean, I would like it if we were.

Dude. You guys. Get this. My recent ex called me yesterday and was like "But you're the greatest girl EVAR! And I never met nobody like you! I'll call you tomorrow because I can't let a gem like you go!!!"

And then he didn't call.

And maybe that helps explain why I might be a little scared to test even the shallow waters of friendship these days.
