I feel a lot better this morning. No more pressure headache that throbs behind my eyes and at the base of my neck. I feel soooo much better. Funny how feeling bad then expiriencing relief can make you feel SO GOOD. I really have no idea what / where the headache came from.
I did find out i have some of the nicest neighbors ever. A while ago our neighbor lady called and left a message on the machine quite late in the PM, we were out so when we got back i went to bed and greg heard the message. We have a freakish answering machine in that if you listen to a message once there is no way to keep it from being recorded over afterwards, so when Greg went to the shower her message was immediately overwritten by someone else. Greg is bad at remembering messages. So she just called back yesterday to check up on why i didn't respond nad say "hows it going?" When i told her of my headache she was like "aww poor thing!" and offered to bring me pancakes and orange juice! She came over and i enjoyed the pancakes and we talked. Apparently her son is into sewing, so i lent them my spare sewinging machine. She is just cool. I can't remember what we talked about exactly, music, movies, art, etc., but i could just tell she is such a nice person, and she was really relaxed and silly, which was way refreshing.
She invited me over to watch a movie later that evening. I took a nap first, woke up and went over. Her son (who is something like 17 / 18) was already busy making a jacket punked / gothed out with band patches, zippers, and stuff. Then they gave me MORE food! Cajun shrimp something-or-other on rice, tea, and hobo pie (which is a bizzare cheap and easy version of banana cream pie). It was all really good. We watched a movie (Ya Ya Sisterhood which i thought was cheezy but i enjoyed it nonetheless), Greg came over too, and then we watched 28 Days later.
It was just cool. The son and I talked about industrial music and he may come over to listen to some of our music and play us some of his, I might make a mix tape for his mom because her tastes are really ecclectic and there is nothing wrong with ecclecticising someone more! I am pretty sure there will be more dinner & movie nights in the future, which makes me happy, since a lot of times it seems like my firends are either busy, tired, or, um, not living in Corvallis.
Greg might have a good job lead in Portland.....i think he called yesterday to schedule an interview. It is in Portland so he will need a place to stay, possibly (don't know if he is 100% getting the job yet). If any of you live in portland and have a cheap room to rent (he says it can be tiny) or know of a cheap room, let us know. I will post more specifically directly into tje SGPDX group if i find out more from Greg, but any leads are totally appreciated.
Blah muargh.
My stories are full of weird long tangents sometimes.....like the answering machine bit. Whooo, someone hasn't taken any writing classes in a while

RANDOM QUESTION TO THE SUICIDE GIRLS: Just out of curiousity, can you guys see a list or tally of how many people have you in their favorites list? I was just noticing how some people had some of the same as mine, and that got me to wondering if they keep track of it at all.
