***UPDATE***
Tomorrow--Guess The Body Part! That's right, kiddies, all this week i will scan parts of my body and post em--you get to guess which part of the body it is!
Cat's foot iron claw
Neuro-surgeons scream for more
At paranoia's poison door.
Twenty first century schizoid man.
Blood rack barbed wire
Polititians' funeral pyre
Innocents raped with napalm fire
Twenty first century schizoid man.
Death seed blind man's greed
Poets' starving children bleed
Nothing he's got he really needs
Twenty first century schizoid man.
***END OF UPDATE***
I cant resist a test--'specially of the personality kind. I, for one, feel more at home when a computer tells me i'm introverted.
Seriously, though, my only problem with these things is that they're too black or white.
As in the question: Do you prefer to be alone rather than in the company of others?
I dunno about you, but it depends on the person you're gonna be with, yeah?
The kicker is, a few questions later they ask: Do you often see things in black and white terms? In other words, something either is or it isn't, with no gray area inbetween.
O' the irony.
Holy...crap. Apparently, i'm a nutter.

now you.
(they have explanations of the psycho-babble, too, thank god)
People with schizoid personality disorder avoid relationships and do not show much emotion. Unlike avoidants, schizoids genuinely prefer to be alone and do not secretly wish for popularity. They tend to seek jobs that require little social contact. Their social skills are often weak and they do not show a need for attention or acceptance. They are perceived by others as humorless and distant and often are termed "loners."
Aside from the "humorless" bit, that kinda sounds like me.
Avoidant personality disorder is characterized by extreme social anxiety. People with this disorder often feel inadequate, avoid social situations, and seek out jobs with little contact with others. Avoidants are fearful of being rejected and worry about embarassing themselves in front of others. They exaggerate the potential difficulties of new situations to rationalize avoiding them. Often, they will create fantasy worlds to substitute for the real one. Unlike schizoid personality disorder, avoidants yearn for social relations yet feel they are unable to obtain them. They are frequently depressed and have low self-confidence.
I'd say i was "Avoidant" except for the fact that i dont particularly fear rejection, i'm often not depressed and i'm fairly confident. Heh. Feck.
Then there's this:
Many believe that schizotypal personality disorder represents mild schizophrenia. The disorder is characterized by odd forms of thinking and perceiving, and individuals with this disorder often seek isolation from others. They sometimes believe to have extra sensory ability or that unrelated events relate to them in some important way. They generally engage in eccentric behavior and have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time. Their speech is often over elaborate and difficult to follow.
Bitches.
(believe it or not, this was just a 1 1/2 page entry in my pocket journal...damn tests)
My weeks are a day behind, this means my week starts on Sundays.
This also means that Thursdays are my Fridays, Fridays my Saturdays, and Saturdays my Sundays.
This is a recap...
Thursday rocked. Hard. It was the best Thursday i've had inna LONG time--since around the middle of when S was unemployed. He's been employed for 4 months, he was Unemployed for nearly a year. Do the math.
Saw Charlie and the blahblahblah--Great fkn movie. Burton has, to my surprise, pleased me.
And, because i saw it, i now know "Math Stretches."
I've had the word "Neoprene" stuck in my bloody head for 2 days.
Friday kinda dragged. I was moody most of the day, for whatever reason, and probably should have stayed in bed. I'm still awaiting the ramifications of that. I'm telling ya, i need to get out of my head, i'm going worst case scenario on this shit.
Saturday was good. S finally finished upgrading/fixing his comp (it's been down for a minute or two), so i got some work done.
I always feel better after editing. I'm telling you, even if i'm the suckiest editor in the world i enjoy it about about as much as i do the "pre-production" shite. Editing is where you finally see all the work come together--Good or Bad. I find the more people i have to deal with in the process, the less i like it. The more compromise i have to make.
And today, my Monday, i got more work done. Saturday i did some stuff with footage of S's old cat trying to bang his mum's dog--both male. With "Hell Is Around The Corner" playing in the back, it becomes fairly eroti--er--funny.
And today, the molestation of Sammy by Balloon-Man whilst he's sleeping, and the subsequent execution of Mr. Balloon-Man...set to Satan Is Real by the Louvin Brothers.
And i feel better.
Tickled like an ape.
Boop.

{EDIT}
Hey wait: How can I be moderately this:
People with histrionic personality disorder are constant attention seekers. They need to be the center of attention all the time, often interrupting others in order to dominate the conversation. They use grandiose language to discribe everyday events and seek constant praise. They may dress provacatively or exaggerate illnesses in order to gain attention. Histrionics also tend to exaggerate friendships and relationships, believing that everyone loves them. They are often manipulative
And highly this:
People with schizoid personality disorder avoid relationships and do not show much emotion. Unlike avoidants, schizoids genuinely prefer to be alone and do not secretly wish for popularity. They tend to seek jobs that require little social contact. Their social skills are often weak and they do not show a need for attention or acceptance. Does that make any sense?
