Are people naturally bad with good tendencies or intentions, or naturally good with evil/bad intentions/tendencies? First thought is Good with bad, but the more I think about it I think maybe bad with good. I guess it kinda depends on which side of the board yr on, cos we all do evil shit with good intentionsThe road to Hell
See, I cant have this conversation with Sammy. Id bring up a point and hell just concede. Wed have to be bored as hell to have a conversation like that. Itd have to be 8am and neither of us could sleep.
This is why I need a college kid to follow me aroundthis is one of the few times they would come in handy. Ill take either side of the debate, you know, so they wouldnt have to think for themselvesas per usual. They could quote Beyond Good And Evil, and weave intricate, convoluted statements in defense of their beliefs Well, according to [random philosophy book] you cant [statement bogged down in euphemisms] without [logic point].
Good times, sick pimpin.
The way I see it, a good-natured person would do things that benefit all people. They would do selfless things.
Bad or evil people do things that only benefit themselves or others like them.
By that logic, Nazis were Evil People with Good Intentionseven if the intentions were bad. Because you have to see if from their angle, right? They were doing what they thought had to be done for the future of their race. Their intentions were goodif you were one of them. That makes them bad.
Hmm.
By the same token, what we did with the Japanese with the work camps and the bombingour intentions were goodending the war, stopping fascismbut our execution was a bit selfish.
War, apparently, doesnt lend itself to logic.
Ok, lets take the wiping out of the Native Americanswe were clearly evil people with good intentions (stealing the land, etc.).
I dunno this is a hard conversation to have with yourself . I guess it comes down to the fact that people are good individuals, but evil in mass.
We all have bad shit going on inside of us, we just shouldnt get wrapped up in it.
And how.
Boop.

so, basically, people are bad because they're dumbasses and don't pay attention to the needs of others, how they affect others, they have no scope of the greater good, and they think only of themselves in a way that benefits only themselves.
the best people are painfully self-aware and unfailingly selfish while simultaneously having full awareness of how their actions affect others (while also caring enough to not fuck with others well being).
derrr....
i have no idea if i just made ANY sense at all.
Thanks for the wonderful birthday photo (sensitive but evil). I found myself wanting to add the corpses of dead birds around it.
