Hi SGland!
Today I'm going to do a blog homework about a new topic suggested by @rambo that I loved, I was thinking about my Top films (just like my Top series that I wrote on a blog a few days ago, that you can read here MY TOP 10 SERIES, if you are interested) so I think that all this was a sign for talk about haha So, which 5 movies would you take to watch forever on a desert island?
The first film I would put in my suitcase for this desert island is the one I have loved since I was a child, and I am sure that many of you love it too, Beetlejuice! Damn, I never get tired of watching this movie! I am fascinated with creativity and all the production that I consider very advanced for the time. Well, most of the films I would make would definitely be one of my favorite producers, Tim Burton! I love fantasy films and the dark side they contain in their productions, so it will be impossible to take just one film from him, so I will also take Edward Scissorhands! Another film that has been with me since childhood, that makes us have fun and cry, another incredible production.
Okay, I love Tim Burton's films very much, but I won't just mention his films, but I will continue in the sequence of films I saw and fell in love with as a child and I never get tired of watching lol and the next film is a classic, and I can only thank my father for having good taste and presenting me with so many good things haha Batman is my father's favorite hero and I think that by influence he is mine too, and a of our favorite films is Batman Forever! And one of the most striking things about this film for me is the performance of Jim Carrey as Riddler, I am also a big fan of him and some films in which he acts.
I think you can see that I also like the classics a lot and yes, in this list there will be only classic films. This movie I didn't see when I was a kid, in fact I don't even remember when it was the first time I saw it, but it is also an incredible production that is the darling of many people, Pulp Fiction! Quentin Tarantino couldn't be left out, this guy is awesome!
And last but not least, Red Dragon! I always get nervous about the suspense of this film, not to mention the performance of Anthony Hopkins who always does a great job, and I certainly wouldn't mind watching forever.
This is it! I chose movies that I wouldn't mind watching over and over, my list looks like this:
