I just got off work a few hours ago, where I was supervising, due to our regular supervisor being on vacation. One of the responsibilities the night shift SV has is to package and sort the medications for the residents. I was sitting at a desk with two handfuls of psychotropic drugs, sorting them into piles. I thought, Wow, I can't believe they are letting me do this. How can they possibly trust any one person to do this? That really brought home two facts:
1. I am old enough to be the "responsible adult", even if I don't feel or look like it. *sigh*
2. My bosses must be stupid.
What did I do? I sorted lots of drugs into neat little stacks, and properly documented everything. My everyday life is so boring.
