I pooped three times already today. I didnt eat or take any medication that may cause such unusual bowel movements. Well, I did drink a cup of hot coffee and I heard from somewhere that hot drinks tend to rev up digestive tracts unintentionally..hrrmm.
A puppy 5 weeks old (a boxer) almost became a member of my family. Willy and Spooky would have enjoyed the companionship of another playmate but my friend who has the pup in her home also has a mom who unknowingly gave the pup up to a pound in arizona too soon because the mom didnt know in time that I would very much like to have the pup with me
I am taking only one class this semester, mon & wed 6 - 9. I chose to do this because I am untrusting and altogether wary of schooling. The original plan of mon-fri from 8 - 4:30 plus mon&wed 6 - 9 requires an investment of too much time and I can't afford it.
I have a new five-star notebook. I love these notebooks. I am always thrilled with new school supplies. I had a new one of these notebooks for every single quarter I was at ucsd (uc system is on the quarter system except for Berkeley). I still have all of them filled up with notes and jammed with syllabi and other assorted papers. I tend to usually throw things away but with school stuff, I keep everything - all the used notebooks, essays, papers and other assignments. I guess it might be a variant of the pack rat syndrome, the academic version.

I just bought a new "man purse" (satchel) book bag. There's a store by my gym that was having a going out of buisness sale. I got it for $40.
I still have a lot of stuff from when I was an undergrad, thinking I might need to refer to it. I haven't. I probably won't, but it's there in case I need it. I'm a pack rat myself, but I do enjoy getting rid of stuff. Just not until I'm ready.
My abnormal psych class starts in a week. It's going to be weird going back to school, but I think I'll enjoy it.
