The suicidegirls book arrived the other day! It was great to finally receive it in the mail after ordering it from amazon way back in April - it felt like yuletide cheer in June. biggrin

I haven't been around much, so I'll put stuff regarding your last post here.

It's funny that you consider your computers a part of the family. Do they have voices? When I talk for the dogs, william sounds like that dopey buzzard on the bugs bunny cartoons that always blushes around girls and theo has a scooby doo voice. Not terribly creative, but they seem to fit.

Work advice: I think of it as either a {b]job or Work. A job pays the bills and really your just doing it to make an honest living. Work is what you do for the sake of doing it and may pay nothing. Hobbies and Work are very similar to each other. As far as school goes, I think it ruins people. Especially if it's in a field that you love. Self-teaching is much better. You can teach yourself and go to school at the same time, but you need to maintain a certain perspective and keep thinking for yourself and do it your way. As far as the economy goes, nursing is a good career choice because it's a job that can't be shipped overseas. Security is another booming field.

The grasshopper mentality is an idea i got from the grasshopper and the ant fable. The ant worked everyday and stored food, the grasshopper enjoyed the day and found food as he became hungry. Winter came and the ant gloated as the grasshopper starved to death. I tend to only work as hard as I have to and I often go hungry when there's too much month left after the money's gone.

I looked at a copy of the book. It's nice, but I don't think I'll be getting a copy.
