No I do not know that guy in the photo on my blog, though I do wish I had that T-shirt, I would wear it for the entire first month of classes (so maybe I need more than one). I have long argued that we need to do away with the concept that every person needs a college degree, I do not believe everyone does. I certainly know many people who are highly trained, very skilled and amazing at their jobs without a degree. In the case of my nurse students they are paid more for having a degree, but most of what they learn is unrelated to their field. While I am a huge fan of learning for learning's sake. I do not believe in forcing people to learn. It just doesn't work.
