So, @nebula beat me to writing a blog post about this, but I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone that gave my set love and comments and helped me go pink so quickly.
It’s been a pretty long journey that led me to applying as a Hopeful and I feel like I’ve become much more confident in myself and my body through modeling.
I’ve been a Suicide Girls fan for years and have had this current account since 2015 when @nebula got me a new subscription for my birthday.
She started modeling a decent bit before I did but she had so much fun with it that I pretty much immediately wanted to try it out. For the past few years, we’ve been traveling together and finding beautiful places to take artistic nudes but for a long time I still wasn’t sure if I wanted to shoot an SG set even though I was already posting those photos here. I wasn’t sure that I’d be able to shoot a consistently good full set and had never really done a full series of images like this but @nebula is a constant source of compliments, affirmation, and support and she helped me to learn to love my body and be confident in my modeling even though it’s still relatively new to me. Eventually I got to a point where I though I’d give it a shot and I’m so happy with the final product. I think women encouraging and supporting other women is one of the most powerful things out there and I love that this community is full of amazing ladies making others feel good about their art.
I’m so lucky to have such an incredible best friend and it’s amazing that we can share this experience together. I can’t wait to shoot new things together in October 💙
