I woke up this morning with a terrible hangover after a huge pool party (in fucking Novemberit was cold, even in California) the night before. I was hitting on this girl who had been a ballerina and now trying to be an actor, she had been at it for 3 years and only got one commercial, so I was talking to her all night about movies flash to waking up (coming to) on a chair in my living room 40 miles from where the party was at 1:30AMdamn I was hammered!
So anyways, this morning I had to get up and go into the studio to record a friend of mine for a voiceover job she needed to read by Monday. I faked my way through our hour session completely hiding the fact that I wanted to puke any and every second. Got that done, made a quick $50 (the easiest way to make $50 while keeping your clothes on), and quickly downed a bunch of water, tomato soup, and French bread. Then my sisters boyfriend, best friend and I went to the movies to see SAW. We get there and they say the 4:30 screening is canceled due to technical difficulties so we figure out that if we go see The Grudge at 5 we can then theatre hop to the 7:30 showing (difficulties fixed) of SAW. Main problem with that is The Grudge was a wretchedly awful film, the first scene of a suicide, no less, had the whole theatre of 20-somethings laughing. Everything in the film was just so over the top and any horror aspects were done cheesily with digital animation, also the acting was just terrible and the plot was very disjointed and the ending almost made me want my money back. Then it was off to see SAW after a quick pit stop in The Incredibles to see the Episode III preview which was more entertaining than all of The Grudge (Did I mention it sucked!!). Anyhow SAW was a great movie with wonderfully gruesome imagery, a very inventive plot with little to no noticeable holes. The music and way it was shot made it a real good time, even the end would throw anyone off guard and some resolution is left to the imagination unlike many recent films. So in the end SAW saved the day, my hangovers gone and the vampire slayer proved she really cannot save her career with lead roles in shitty movies.

Hangovers are the worst. I no longer get them tho, usually I drink A LOT of water BEFORE I drink, as well as after... I'm sure I will forget some day.
