Julie (my 7-year-old) dons my sombrero. (I have many hats.)

She asks, "Is this a hat that Chinese fighters wear?"

I reply, "No ... that is a Mexican hat."


She asks, "Do Mexicans fight?"

I reply, "Sometimes ..."

She asks, "Do they wear these when they fight?"

I reply, "Sometimes ..."

She says, "Yeeeeeaaaaaaah." And begins kung fu maneuvers.

I am so proud.
