I must admit, my paticipation on SG lately has been...well, non-existent.
I don't really know why...perhaps i'm a little jaded with the whole thing. I do feel bad to some of the people in my friends list for abandoning them...don't get me wrong, i'm sure they survived fine without me, but they were always good to me - said kind words, lent me things, gave me feedback on my fictional writing etc. Maybe i'll stick around this time - maybe even get to know a few more people...or perhaps just build bridges with the ones I already know.
Despite my sarcastic bitchy comments in my last post, I like the new lay-out of SG a lot (I guess it's not new to you guys). The functionality of the site is a helluva lot better and it just feels a lot bigger and more in depth. Brownie points go to the guys n girls that made it happen.
I see me ol' mucker Daisy has a new set up and lots of people have left lots of very nice comments - if you haven't seen it, go and do so because it's a really lovely set and she suffered for her art - as you will read about in her blog...
hats (and scarves and wellies and skirts and underwears) off to you Daisy.
speaking of hats...i bought a new one in this girl's shop yesterday...I saw her in there and she looks twice as nice in real life. Was a bit weird to think 'I've seen you naked' and i've never even met her. I didn't say hello as that would've been just a tad creepy plus it was baking in Cyberdog - and i'm sure she gets acosted by plenty of sweaty SG members as it is. But anyway, it's a cool hat.
I had a good time in town yesterday...despite the heat and often getting lost - oh and the sore feet and aching bones...but honestly it was good! picked up raw power by iggy and the stooges and the sex pistols (released) bootleg 'spunk'...neither of which I have listened to. there's always something to buy in Camden. My lady got a top in punkfyish (not the usual shit you see in there, this one is actually nice!) and the compulsory knee length socks. It still amazes me that there is a distinct lack of Air Con in even big shops in London...a sweaty customer is not a happy, free-spending customer! Me and heat are the best bedfellows...how i long for wintery days - freezing cold and brilliant sunshine.
In amongst the heatwave I got some more ink...an extension of the work already on my left arm. It's not finished yet and I have to go back in September - but progress is good and it's always a pleasure to go
back to my usual studio and get work done by Andy.
progress below (the skin is still healing)
Whilst there my lady finally got her belly button pierced...picture to follow one day as she is still asleep (like i should be but my damn thirsty, desperate for a piss dog woke me up - bitch). In the meantime here is a picture of her bellybutton - you can add your own piercing...like a modern day version of pin the tail on the donkey - no disrespect intended.
Whilst on the subject of my fair lady - she's after any UK based online shops that sell 'alternative' clothing...alternative to what i'm not sure but hey. Any ideas would be greatly received (preferably cheap ones). Living on the outskirts of London in dickheadville it's hard to find the sort of things she likes. Also anyone who has any experience of customising clothes...if they have any ideas/tips/tricks of the trade they would be greatly received. Aparently ripping holes in the knees of your jeans whilst going through you guns n roses period doesn't count as customising!
We've been recently looking at areas to buy a place in. Not seriously looking, as we have no money, but just trying to find an area. For those of you who don't know, we moved back in with my folks to try and save for a deposit...renting was a killer! Although living at home poses no massive problem, it's far from ideal. But i think moving out is a way off as at the moment as we could just about afford this! but only just. We want to be closer to town (for work etc) and in a nicer area but obviosuly that pushes the price way up! Anyway - for the future.
Well if you've made it down this far without getting bored and going elsewhere, congrats...you done better than i did
Well ladies and gents, thats how for now...maybe i'll actually come on here from time to time rather than leaving it months between posts!
Take care of yourselves, and eachother
Peace and love

I think I`ll keep my PC. The mac sounds lovely, but I like looking behind the programs.
If someone wanted to make a present of one to me though, I`d be happy to learn
Happy birthday.
You share it with three member on my list and my Lady
