Man i feel rough...i'm fucking freezing and all the heaters are on! When you give up booze and have a drink again (on an painfully empty stomach) it really messes you up...and combined with a slighty dubious dinner afterwards!

What made it worse was the fact that i didn't want to go out tonight in the first place, but i thought "i'm so anti-social i...

My wife soaks her feet in hot water before bed and then dresses up like an eskimo. I prefer the opposite end of the spectrum, but what can you do?

Very sensible move on the moving back. Limited house freedom is a small price to pay. Save away!

That well went over my head.

I forgot to email you. I'm going to do it now. I'm so bold. Sorry. I was away you see. blush blackeyed

Sorry.

It's my mother's birthday tomorrow. We got her an oil burner and some various oils. It's an attempt to help her relax. What with everything to do with my nan and the fact her work is treating her (and pretty much everyone else) like shit, she needs a break. We're heading out for dinner tonight, have a few drinks and some chinese food...
We (smokette...

Sorry i got it so wrong, but thanks for seting me straightsmile

Somestimes friends let us down, keep it in mind and see what happens. I`ve often been pleasantly suprised when I thought things had gone wrong. But I`ve been disappointed to.

Hope it works out. smile

It's funny how words can hurt more than any force or wound.
It guts you and makes you tremble with rage...especially when from someone so close...and it makes it worse when an oppourtunity to apologise is ignored when you make your hurt obvious, yet subtle.
I think i'll leave it at that or this'll turn into a tyrade and no one wants to see that....

Cunt!

Me and my girl have some proper rows, and like you I feel I`m being reasonable and she isn`t. often things are said then that aren`t meant but hurt.

In these situations its best to take the shit then leave em to it. They usually come round. It doesn`t help to let em get away with it either, they just start to loose respect.

So it seems all is well, you stood your ground.

Lets hope making up is fun smile

So far, all the feedback about my recently completed piece has been positive...even people i expected to be critcal didn't have a bad word to say...except "you should continue it" which i didn't see as negative, it was obviously liked enough for there to be a want for more...but i'm done with it. I want readers to continue it themselves, to decide what they'd do...

OK, I literally just finished the short story i have been working on. I'm going to let a few people read through it and then i'll try and submit it to a few places and see what happens. Fingers crossed...or something like that!

Peace

Its great to get compliments on your writing, and it sucks to get critisism too. Can really knock the stuffing out of you.

I can`t remember if we have discussed it, but I`m writing a fantasy novel. I do the odd short story too.

Its great you got your story done. Its a real sense of achievement.

Writing a novel is fucking hard work, and I never seem to get too much spare time to do it, but I have little spurts of progress now and then, and I`m always thinking about it.

If you need someone extra to read it I would be happy too.

Keep well

And what is the `not afraid` reference on yours and your lady`s tats?

I got an e-mail newsletter from Tartan Video (they're the one that release films like OldBoy, Ring trilogy and pretty much any half decent foreign film here in the UK). In that newsletter was the chance for people to get their gruby mitts on a signed copy of the book The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things by JT. Leroy if you buy the DVD...

OK, the operation went well (if a lot later than originally expected).
Just got back from visiting her. Man, that was pretty weird. She seemed pleased to see me and recognised me, which is a plus, at times the conversation drifted into the land of make-believe but on the whole it was OK. She moaned copiously like she always does but admitedly the third rate...

Good to hear it went well and that you had a good chat to her! Good job on the biscuits too - hospital food ain't edible.

Her operation didn't happen "first thing" as initially thought. In fact as of about 1 o'clock still no go.

I waiting on a call from my old man as he said he'd update me. He was going to the hospital to explain it to my nan, about the delay etc.

I guess no news is good news, or something like that.
