so i went up a gauge last night - I finally made it up to 0g (8mm) in my left lobe (my solitary piercing!). It hurt a little and is a little sore still, but it's to be expected...I will take a photo and post it up soon - just ordered some decent jewellery to stick in it, so i'll wait for that!

I don't know but I tend to notice that, because I use tapers, the taper looks bigger when I hold it in my hand than compared to when it's in my ear and I just think to myself "Aww, man, that's not so big. Watched Sympathy for Lady Vengeance last night. I personally didn't think it was as good as Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. Similar theme, but where SfMV was tragic, SfLV was simply cruel. In SfMV, the characters start out with good intention, but then things go wrong. In SfLV, the good intention is never really there, so the movie has a very different feel.
It was also a little harder to follow for two reasons. Firstly, there's a lot more dialogue than in SfMV, and it can be a bit frustrating trying to catch all the subtitles and still watch the movie (although portions of it are spoken in English). Secondly, in SfMV you pick up on the direction of the movie very early - the guy wants to help his sister, and winds up having his kidney stolen - the reasoning is right there. In SfLV, the reasoning isn't shown until much later in the movie, so trying to understand what's going on and why is a bit harder.
I went looking for some more Chan-wook Park films. I got a bunch of titles, but I can't seem to track any of 'em down. If you've got a list of some good Korean flicks by other directors (or even just similar flicks), please, by all means share your knowledge.

Watched Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance last night. It was awesome! Still don't think it was as good as Oldboy, but where Oldboy was sad, SfMV was just so brutally depressing. 
I enjoyed it though. Another well made film. Just one thing had me a little puzzled though... wasn't exactly sure of what the note pinned to the guy's chest at the end was (seeing as I can't read Korean). I'm assuming those guys were linked to the organ dealers though.
Well, I'll probably sit down and watch Sympathy for Lady Vengeance tomorrow night...
