Hey ya'll, I'm in cali! This is my first phone update so i will keep it short and edit it online.

Alright, here's the real update...
I missed Voodoo Fest...sorry guys, I had to leave early, my apartment in Shreveport was flooded by a broken sewer main...eww!
I should be getting a check for about $1600 from the insurance company for flood damages, but nothing really important was damaged by the flood.
I left Louisiana last thursday.
I left my Check card in arizona on friday.
I met some really cool people on the road...an airforce guy with a Subaru WRX STI headed back to Washington state from Mississippi, and a couple headed to LA from Minnisota and NY. We all caravaned across I-40 from BFE, New Mexico to Flagstaff.
My cat rode in the car for like 2 and a half days and didnt have any problems at all. He loved it when I had the top down!
I was about 15 minutes from Hollister when I was pulled over by CHP for going 104 in a 70...oops! I wasnt even paying attention...the officer said that the judge is usually pretty liberal, so I can kiss ass and get the ticket down to like $100-200. OH Well I didn't want that $$ anyway.
I finally made it to Hollister Saturday morning...no cash...no bank card...4 grand in a Louisiana bank, with no way to access it...HUNGRY...almost out of gas...TIRED...and the house I was moving into wasnt open till after 4pm.
I slept in the car at Target until 4pm.
I bummed $$, herb, and food from friends on Sunday...thanks D.& N.
Got some $$ when I transferred my account to Bank of America.
It took 3 days to get my phone transferred to a local number, and I had to by a new phone. Now I have camera and internet on the new one. Cingular has some crap coverage area on the west coast

The house I am in is great, but I wish the moving company would hurry up with my trailer full of stuff!
My back hurts from sleeping on the floor.
I still havent worked yet. The guy I am supposed to be working for is dragging ass. If he doesnt have something for me on monday I'm gonna go find something else to do.

There's probably a cowboy bar, a Mariachi bar, or both in downtown Hollister. Otherwise, Santa Cruz and Monterey are really close, like less than 45 minutes away.
