Australia day weekend - ups and downs.
Friday
up: had a bbq at work. ate soydogs and drank a beer.
down: wanted to sleep the rest of the atfernoon but had to work.
up: went to "the zoo". watched our friends band 'The Fricken hecks' play. danced at rics cafe bar.
down: coming home at 1am to find the stereo blaring, all the windows opened and all the lights on.
Saturday
up: preparing salads and lentil paddies for our bbq. placing furniture in the backyard, buying supplies and hanging sheets over our clothes line for shade.
down: getting angry at my housemate for leaving lights/stereo on and windows open. suggesting she should move out. her- tears. me - guilt. awkwardness was avoided by ignoring the situation.
up: guest arriving, devouring snacks, drinking, eating lunch
down: vegetarian VS meat debates. getting me angry. Billy later in the night got a lentil-paddy thrown at him. hehe.
up: started drinking games. 100 shots [of beer] in 100 minutes.
down: only making it to 25 before being sick behind a tree.
sean and indigo [my younger sister]
heather and fletch [my boy.]
rest of the night is hazy. too much alcohol. had a nap. got rudely awoken to go back and join the party.
sister passed out, had to carry her upstairs.
went to rics cafe bar. danced. until i was too drunk to stand so i went home.
Sunday
up: -
down: bad hangover. chickening out about getting tattooed. cleaning up entire yard/house.
went to the parlour, stole 2 lollipops from the supermarket before hand. got tattooed. all that worry for nothing. least painful yet. i got a ghost.
came home to find younger sister and the gang drunk already [3pm?] joined in.
major down: getting upset at my sister. arguing with my housemate and asking her to move out. but i think i did the right thing, and i was the only person in the house to be able to say it and say it right. it was one of the hardest things ive ever had to do or say to someone. but its for the best, and she knows that. and i know she will get better.
went to rics again. [monday being a public holiday - no work] lucy, heather and i all wearing fake moustaches we drew on with permanent marker and liquid eyeliner.
fun night of throwing ice at passers by on the streets. dancing in the scum bar of the earth.
Jamie and i in the bathroom.
i remember having fun....
oh well!
happy australia day.
