I have been driving myself crazy listening to all these romantic old doo-wop classics and soundtracks. There is one song from 28 Days Later that is so beautiful and scary, and of course I love the panflute song from Kill Bill-so inspiring.
So, I have one month left in Texas. My philosophy class ended last night and all I have left to do for it is to write a paper on what I think the meaning/purpose of life is.
My professor's such a slacker. In anthropology, I have insane amounts of material to cover and projects to do, but I'm going to get them all done early. I'm coming home for the Sebadoh show on May 6th, for sure.
I think my dad is going to give me the car I'm driving. A few years ago he mentioned it to my brother, but at that point I didn't know how to drive a stick. Now that I do, he wants me to drive it, and I suspect I'll get to keep it when I'm in Atlanta. That would definitely absolve him of his sins as far as I'm concerned.
Tonight I watched Real Sex and was not turned on by the pony fetish people. I love horses, but I don't find them or their paraphernalia erotic in any way. People like some funny things. I just want to make out with someone on the sofa. That's all!

As for the pony/puppy thing... I just never got it. I guess it is an act of heavy submission that they are turned on by, but wow... just a weird way of doing it.
