This morning I was so bored at work that I read a really disgusting article on managing non-healing wounds. It was kind of neat, actually, because it described different debridement techniques and had nasty pictures. Poor people with non-healing wounds.
We had a torrential downpour today that made me want to take a nice long nap and make out with someone.
My mom called me on the way home from the ball game to let me know that Sherlock ate an entire block of Monterey jack cheese-12 or 16 ounces, something like that. He's such a piglet! The sad thing is, in his little doggie mind there is no connection between stealing that hunk of cheese off the counter and the horrible belly-ache he's going to have later.
The ballgame was fun! Minutemaid Park is really nice, and downtown Houston is so much safer than Atlanta. There were no homeless guys harrassing us for change, or dudes cat-calling all the girls. It was a little too much when everyone sang that "deep in the heart of Texas" song, but I did get to see Andy Pettitte and a bunch of players my brother's always going on about (Bagwell, Grissom, Bonds, etc.). It was a nice evening with my dad.
So, here are a few questions:
1.) What is your favorite Pepperidge Farm cookie?
2.) What is your favorite sport?
3.) Should I say anything when I'm on the computer and my dad starts watching Skinemax because he thinks I'm not paying attention?
4.) Do you condone capital punishment?
5.) Do you identify with a particular ethnicity, other than that of the nation you were born in?

2.) Aside from all the equestrian sports, baseball is my favorite professional sport.
3.) I'm not sure....
4.) I did for a long time, but I think I'm changing my mind.
5.) I identify with my mama's Brazilian culture, but not that much since I haven't spent enough time there.
Have a lovely evening.
