I'm so addicted to In Treatment. Gabriel Byrne, Dianne Wiest, and Hope Davis...how could I not watch? I couldn't sleep last night and it was on back to back. I think I might miss my therapist.
I had a heart-stopping meal today with siamkittie for her birthday, outside in the sunshine: fresh calamari dripping with lemon juice, a Parisian burger (medium rare, topped with oozing brie and onion confit) with salt & pepper fries and garlic aioli, and for dessert, mini doughnuts with an amazing chocolate espresso dipping sauce. Tonight I'm having some kind of green drink for dinner as my penance.
The Christmasy-looking trees on Park Ave. have been replaced with a slew of yellow tulips, and cream ones surround all the trees on East 64th. Cherry blossoms are everywhere. Spring is here, and so welcome.

Why does my dwarf hamster scream when I pick him up and put him back in his cage? He's very friendly, but when I put him back in the cage, he goes to the wall and scratches it like crazy and lets out this sound that's almost like he's frustrated. It sounds like a scratched record or something. It isn't a scared scream, like how he screams if he sees another hamster. It's a frustrated sound. Weird.
