There was the nicest surprise waiting for me outside when I woke up this morning. Right beside the pool there was a brand new litter of mostly black kittens, rolling around in the grass and playing with their pretty orange mama. I went over to see them and she came up to me purring and sweet. I'm going to take her some food at lunchtime, because nursing mamas have to eat, and she was pretty scrawny. She's cute as a biscuit!

A certain someone kept me up all night again, but I don't mind one bit. Tonight I'm going to sleep very well after I get to Austin. I'm having Thanksgiving at my Aunt Susanna's house, since I'm so far away from everyone in Atlanta. I'm going to play with my cousins and wrestle their dog. I think I'm going to go see my cute little pothead hairdresser with her longhorn tattoo, so I can get these fucking highlights corrected. I will not, however, get another tattoo at Diablo Rojo, even though they are right next door to the salon and I want one badly. I think they could be a better shop.

On Friday I'm coming home from Austin so I can go to New Orleans. I've never been there before, so I'm excited. I'll get to have coffee and beignets, and possibly get mugged in the cemetery. Maybe I'll even get to put a voodoo spell on someone who's been evil to me.
