I can't get the sax solo from Careless Whispers out of my head, thanks to VH1 Classic. I feel like such a badass.
I had a great weekend...had passionfruit sangria with my supper Friday night, with my favorite lesbian, and came home early all buzzy. I got up early Saturday and as soon as I stepped out the door ran into my godparents...not cool since I was sorta groggy and have been avoiding their calls (for no good reason, really). Anyway, they're awesome and gave me a ride to the station. Work sucked. Everyone called out so I was the only one there for a while and had to deal with the clinic's bitchiest and whiniest doctors, respectively. Fortunately they like me, probably because I never, ever make them feel like any of their demands are unreasonable. I'm beginning to question the value of such behavior. It doesn't make my life any easier, that's for sure.
I took a good long nap after work and then cabbed it to the Upper West Side (for the first time!) for mellythepirate's birthday celebration. Everyone looked hot and I had a good time, even if I did lose an hour. I saw Lincoln Center, had my first Grey's Papaya dog, and had fun wandering around with friends in the deliciously spring-like weather.
I got home late and crashed out til Sunday afternoon.
Sunday siamkittie and I attempted to commit suicide by junk food, apparently. We wandered the mall and ogled tasty lingerie and shoes. We closed down the bar at the mall, 'cause that's how we roll...hardcore.
Monday I actually got out and exercised, in spite of the rain and grey-ness. I got my groceries and read like a good girl. Today I was really good at work so I could get my schedule changed to see this. It doesn't get much better than that!
This reminds me of my grandfather. He's a huge fan.

Things are good down here. I was writing a bunch of stuff but it was turning into a blog entry so I'll make it one.
