Well, today should be better than yesterday. I had a fabulous archaeology class last night, complete with outbursts from our resident ufo/paranormal freak. He always makes such interesting comments...about every single thing the professor tries to discuss.
After class I went home, watched a good show about private investigators, read some more of Baudolino, and passed out. I can't remember what I dreamt, but I know it was good because I didn't want to wake up today. So, I decided to give myself an incentive to get up.
I'm going to go get some new jewelry for my piercings, and I'm going to see if I can get an appointment to have my hair dyed back to it's natural color. Right now I have red streaks in it that used to be lovely, but are now approaching a brassy color that really isn't red. Also, on the un-superficial side, I'm going to meet a lady from Planned Parenthood so I can start volunteering soon. I'm thrilled about that, because they are such a great organization. Plus, I get to plan my trip to Corpus Christi tomorrow. My friend James that lives there invited me to come stay with him for the weekend, since he's already stayed here in Houston with me. I could definitely use a distraction, and he's very sweet, so I'm looking forward to it. I guess today's not looking so bad after all.

I love animals. They do nothing but give and give and give and never ask for anything in return. Did you check out my pets in my pics section? I still have to find a picture of my other dog, Petey - he was one handsom dog

ps- Marxist feminist, eh? Are you sure you don't go to MY college? (That would be Agnes Scott. I'm assuming you go to State?)
