Try as I might, I can't seem to shake my feelings for my ex. It's been almost 2 years since we've been officially broken up, but we've been very intimate as recently as Thanksgiving, and we've been spending time together almost every day.
I miss her so much, I wish I knew why.
She and I have both dated other people since then, and now she is interested in a guy (it's been about 5 or so years since she's been with a guy), and I'm really upset by it. She was just friends with him, and I guess they took another step closer this past weekend. I told her I don't think she knows how to be "just friends" with people; whenever she's attracted to a friend she seems to cross that line.
I don't know.
She's confused, and I'm still heartbroken.
How does anyone get over someone they loved and didn't want to lose?

If you truly loved someone I don't think you ever get over losing them 100%, some part of you will always miss them. It is very hard to be close to the one you love like that, I hope you can find a good balance for you that will make you happy with having her as a friend.
