Take it easy the bills will stil be there. I got real sick about a year ago doing just what you are... everything for everyone but you. I got pneumonia, then I was weak, and got Ecoli..... bad days indeed. so plese take care of yourself.....

I think I had less than half the trick-or-treaters this year that I had last year. It was really cold! I gave the kids whole handfuls of candy, and I still have too much left. I just got done instant messaging my daughter, who lives in Australia, and she was whinging about how little they get into Halloween over there. Halloween is her favorite holiday, and she always gets her kids dressed up to go trick-or-treating. The rest of the world does not celebrate it like we do.

Get better! I think your voice will come back. I can't imagine a woman who can't talk! (Oops! Sorry about that!)

If it weren't for the fact that "secret journals" can't be kept secret, I suggest keeping a secret journal with stories like this in it. Later in life you'd be glad you did.

I think that the break is a great idea. Just remember that a break can go both ways. You may find yourself not wanting to go back to him and that llifestyle. It's not a good thing that he is doing this to you. (times out of 10 if it's not fixed he'll start to do other things that may be more hurtful. I speak from experiance.

I did the child support bit myself. However, my ex decided she wanted to play with the boys in California, so I ended up with the kids. Let me tell you, it was a lot cheaper when I had the kids than when she had them. I don't know where they come up with the figures for child support. She never paid me a dime, by the way. But God help me if I hadn't! I'd have been in lock up.

WOW! It must be a girl thing. I couldn't remember one tenth as much about my own wedding 5 minutes after it happened. Now important stuff like deer hunting, that's something else. I remember that cold misty moisty morning at 10:43am four days into the season back in '76. I almost dozed off while sitting on a stump in Uncle Ben's old blind, when suddenly I heard a rustling sound off on my left rear quarter. There it was....

Actually, weddings and things like that are the really important things in life. Treasure your memories.

Even old geezers like me have battled the fashion Nazis over the years. Back in the olden times I grew a beard. The way women and girls looked at me you'd have thought I was a Nazi. The president of the college I was attending even came over and ate lunch with me to tell me how inappropriate the beard was. Funny thing is, years later, woman and girls thought the beard was cute, and there wasn't a campus without bearded hippies. Then there was my ponytail. "That is not appropriate for a corporate manager," my boss tactfully said. Now I suppose I'm out of it because I don't have tattoos and piercings! It depends on where you are and what your doing as to what is appropriate or not. Fashion Nazis live on both sides of the fence!
